The euro reference rates the Bulgarian National Bank publishes each working day — for today or any past date — with a converter.

Rate date

Rates are published on ECB working days at 14:15 CET. For a weekend, holiday or a date before publication, the last published rate applies.

Source: ECB euro reference rates, as published by the Bulgarian National Bank. Since 1 January 2026 the lev no longer exists — the BNB publishes the ECB's rates against the euro.

Reference rates, not dealing rates — banks and exchange offices apply their own spreads. For accounting under ЗСч and ЗДДС the BNB's published rate for the day of the transaction is the one that counts; ask us which day that is in your case.
